Pᴀɢᴇ 3 → [Crimson Creek] View Criminal's Perspective

Nikita Volkov: Ethan, you have made a grave mistake... Alex Morgan was able to deduce who killed the test victim...

Ethan Rin: Snow and I had a complication, police were at the Serpentine's headquarters.

Nikita Volkov: What? ... Who was there?

Ethan Rin: It was a coincidence, there was a drunk fight. I don't think they know of our operation.

Nikita Volkov: Who called the police?

Ethan Rin: Brian Wolf, he's out of control.

Nikita Volkov: I will take care of Brian Wolf, go fix our issue, remove Alex Morgan from the picture, but don't underestimate your opponent, Ethan... Alex Morgan is very intelligent.

Pᴀɢᴇ 4 → [Crimson Creek] View Case Story

This was the Scarlet Seal's secret chemical plant for creating Entropy. During this case, Ethan Rin, their clean-up man, had a complication at the Serpentine's casino. This caused the clean-up to never occur; as a result, you were able to deduce that the engineer paired with the supplier were the culprits.

Pᴀɢᴇ 5 → [Someone Sinister] View Criminal's Perspective

Ethan Rin: Framing... that will definitely confuse them, and hopefully remove Alex Morgan from this investigation.

I'll just need to find out where Detective Morgan lives.

Pᴀɢᴇ 6 → [Someone Sinister] View Case Story

Ethan's plan of framing you begins here. At this point, Ethan himself conducted an experiment with Mark Cane's latest poison design. After Ethan's experiment, he knew Entropy wasn't yet finished. He decided to hit two birds with one stone and frame you. To conceal the poison, he shot the body and staged it in your apartment. Ethan was at Crimson Creek watching over your investigation so he knew where to go to plant the body.

Pᴀɢᴇ 7 → [The Hunt] View Criminal's Perspective

Ethan Rin: Alex Morgan poses a big threat to our plans... Let's send Brian Wolf as a hitman.

Paul Volkov: And if he fails?

Ethan Rin: Your brother wanted to take care of him anyway.

Paul Volkov: Go offer him money, and try to make it look like the Serpentine sent him.

Pᴀɢᴇ 8 → [The Hunt] View Case Story

Ethan grew more worried about your involvement with the case, and began to plan further. His new plan involved sending a hitman. Paul instructed him to shift the focus of the investigation on the Serpentine crime organization.

Pᴀɢᴇ 9 → [The Culmination] View Criminal's Perspective

Nikita Volkov: Ethan was caught, even though I specifically warned him. Did he send Brian to kill the detective yet?

Paul Volkov: No, we need to flee London as soon as possible.

Nikita Volkov: That would be admitting defeat, that's not the way of the Volkov family...

Brother, our biggest strength is that we can be one person in their eyes. We can trick them.

Paul Volkov: It seems risky, but what is your proposition?

Nikita Volkov: It involves playing directly into the police's hands giving them the impression that they are in control.

Paul Volkov: Let me guess, you want to use my masterful deception in some way?

Nikita Volkov: You will pose as the new henchman, since Ethan was caught. Then, you will let them catch you on purpose, and once they do, you will stall them while we finish Entropy.

Paul Volkov: How do I escape after that?

Nikita Volkov: We will make a swap at the asylum where we have our escape tunnel. Then, what evidence they have on you will mean nothing if they have the wrong man.

Paul Volkov: You're asking a lot of me, brother. And, are you sure they won't convict you of aiding in a conspiracy?

Nikita Volkov: I trust your cunning abilities, brother. After all, you are "The Specter". As for me, I will be fine, don't worry.

Paul Volkov: What if Ethan cracks under the pressure and tells police there are two of us?

Nikita Volkov: He won't, he loves Riley too much, he doesn't know we already killed her.

Pᴀɢᴇ 10 → [The Culmination] View Case Story

Ethan overlooked the fact that Natalie Steel was part of the investigation. She was able to provide you with a starting point that led to his capture. Being very intelligent, Natalie Steel still remained hidden, the Scarlet Seal only found out her involvement in the case later on. Nikita and Paul were both shocked by Ethan's capture and needed to either flee now or think of an alternate plan that gave them the Entropy poison and freedom.

Pᴀɢᴇ 11 → [Dark Deed] View Criminal's Perspective

Blue Eyes: Paul... this plan will never work, the detectives will catch you in a lie.

Paul Volkov: I will use my brother's identity. When we make the final switch, and the police arrest my brother, they'll only know the swap occurred once they test for fingerprints and DNA.

DNA test results take at least one day to complete, so they'll only think to start searching for me when it's too late.

Blue Eyes: It's a bad idea, boss, your ego will be your undoing.

Paul Volkov: My child... you confuse ego with self-respect.

Page 12 → [Dark Deed] View Case Story

Paul discussed his plan with the Serpentine, but they grew more and more frustrated with their new business partners. Blue Eyes began to think Paul and Nikita had a death wish.

Pᴀɢᴇ 13 → [The Specter] View Criminal's Perspective

Paul Volkov: I think it is time to tell the Serpentine to move to phase two. They should reveal my identity as a Scarlet Seal henchman.

Nikita Volkov: A confidential informant that is a double agent... let's hope it throws off the police like we anticipate.

Paul Volkov: Blood for blood, my brother.

Pᴀɢᴇ 14 → [The Specter] View Case Story

Nikita and Paul thought out every small detail for how to pull off the master plan. They came to the conclusion that their greatest power was being at two places at once.

Pᴀɢᴇ 15 → [Into Darkness] View Criminal's Perspective

Nikita Volkov: I wonder how quickly they will get to Dimitri.

Paul Volkov: Given that they caught Ethan, they will find him within a couple months, however, he will already have Entropy completed. Once Entropy becomes a reality, we will kill him with his own creation. Then, our job here will be done...

Pᴀɢᴇ 16 → [Into Darkness] View Case Story

Nikita and Paul discussed Dimitri's work on Entropy and how long they thought they had until he was found. Nikita only assumed he needed to hide from Alex Morgan, but with the aid of Natalie Steel, Nikita was spotted at night. This prompted Natalie to ask the Serpentine for more information. The timing was perfect, because Paul and Nikita had just told the Serpentine they were ready for phase two of their plan. But they didn't expect the police to be so quick to question the gang once again.

Pᴀɢᴇ 17 → [Chemistry] View Criminal's Perspective

Nikita Volkov: Hopefully, Dimitri finishes Entropy before he is caught.

Paul Volkov: He can finish it within a couple weeks, he told me he was very close to completing the toxin.

Nikita Volkov: Maybe we should consider stalling the detectives more.

Paul Volkov: It will add unnecessary complications, I'm already taking a lot of risks. Besides, Alex Morgan can only do so much.

Pᴀɢᴇ 18 → [Chemistry] View Case Story

During this time, Dimitri was caught, but Nikita and Paul had yet to find out. It is no longer possible for them to get the final untraceable version of Entropy.

Pᴀɢᴇ 19 → [Bring to Light] View Criminal's Perspective

Paul Volkov: Natalie Steel was investigating us this entire time. Alex Morgan wasn't alone.

Dimitri never gave us proof the toxin was completed...

Nikita Volkov: In case they traced Dimitri's call to this location, I'll move to the asylum now.

Without proof of the poison being complete, we can deduce the call was a bluff. The detectives have already captured him.

Paul Volkov: Dammit, Dimitri! Is there no one who can get this job done?

Nikita Volkov: I told you, brother, we should have considered stalling them.

Paul Volkov: They'll be expecting us to run now, we have no choice but to begin the con.

Nikita Volkov: Watch for the tracker they bug you with and keep calm, my brother...

Also, don't forget to use my name instead of yours...

Paul Volkov: I'll see you on the other side.

Paul begins reflecting on how the con went after his intended capture.

Paul Volkov: At least they think my mistress is my weakness, they must not realize I have many mistresses!

Pᴀɢᴇ 20 → [Bring to Light] View Case Story

Paul and Nikita found out about Dimitri's capture, Entropy was not finished... Now they must choose, do they run or do they fight?

Pᴀɢᴇ 21 → [Subtlety] View Criminal's Perspective

Nikita Volkov: Snow, my brother is in the detectives' hands for now...

Snow: So what is the plan from here?

Nikita Volkov: He will manipulate them into thinking they're on the offensive. But really, we have a trap set up at the asylum...

Pᴀɢᴇ 22 → [Subtlety] View Case Story

Paul was in the process of gaining the detectives' trust to lead them to the fake boss, "Snow". Nikita instructed Snow to pause all operations at the moment and wait to see what his brother, Paul, will do to lead the police to the asylum.

Pᴀɢᴇ 23 → [Falling to Fate] View Criminal's Perspective

Paul runs through his creative mind to think of how to trap these detectives...

Paul Volkov: I have to come across as less intelligent than the police... Otherwise, they will be suspicious of my suggestions. The code and the map have to be tricky enough so they don't look fake, but there needs to be a pattern.

Pᴀɢᴇ 24 → [Falling to Fate] View Case Story

Paul began moving on to phase three of his master plan. He needed to lead the detectives to the asylum, where the trap was being created.

Pᴀɢᴇ 25 → [Fly by Night] View Criminal's Perspective

Paul reflects on his code and map plan...

Paul Volkov: I almost slipped up and didn't answer to the name Nikita... I need to keep focused.

Natalie Steel... when she saw Snow's picture... she had the gaze of love, but I know they aren't blood-related...

Thus they were once lovers...

Pᴀɢᴇ 26 → [Fly by Night] View Case Story

Paul noticed that something didn't sit right with Natalie Steel. He was able to pick u pon Natalie's gaze of love toward Snow's picture. After this, he knew Snow must die as well.

Pᴀɢᴇ 27 → [Glimpse of the Past] View Criminal's Perspective

Paul has time to think about his plan while he waits for Detective Morgan to return.

Paul Volkov: Hmmm... I think I've got them, they trust me, I can feel it.

Hmm, the real question though, is if Natalie knew Snow was in the Scarlet Seal this whole time or not...

No, she couldn't have. Otherwise, it wouldn't have shocked her like it did.

But, she may have known he was a criminal which could be why they broke up... Who expects their ex to be the boss of a secret criminal organization?

Hmm, I'm able to deduce this much, but will she tell Alex Morgan?

I suppose I'll have to wait and see, but in either case I think the plan remains the same.

Pᴀɢᴇ 28 → [Glimpse of the Past] View Case Story

Paul knew it was no coincidence that Natalie vanished after seeing Snow's picture. While Detective Morgan was searching for Natalie Steel, Paul was patiently waiting at the police station refining his master plan.

Pᴀɢᴇ 29 → [Breaking a Heart] View the Volkov Trap

Step 1: Escape Route

First, we need to construct an escape route that cannot be seen and most importantly... cannot be investigated in advance.

Step 2: Misdirection

Next, we need to light candles on the top floor to give the illusion there are guards present... This will shift the focus of the snipers that they will likely have to the top level.

Step 3: Eye Candy

We need something visual and expensive to sell the fact that we are going to be using the roof...

A helicopter. Perfect.

Step 4: Stealth

We need to have a secret room on the first floor, where they wouldn't expect us to be... It also needs to make us invisible to heat scans. We need to line a room with foil.

Step 5: Invitation

We need something to force them into the trap room. We can use sound to attract them... a cell phone recording underneath the foil should do.

Step 6: Insight

Insight, we need to know where the police are at all times. Installing a pattern of mirrors to allow us to see around corners should help.

Step 7: Even the Scales

We will be outnumbered...

A tripwire causing a blinding flash should give us first blood.

Step 8: Darkness

Equip ourselves with night vision and trigger an EMP to simultaneously destroy police communication, turn off all lights, and stop the cell phone from playing sound. This will mitigate police investigation... They'll still find it, but not as quickly.

Step 9: Vanish

From here, if we aren't dead then we have successfully made it out.

You will take the tunnel and come out on the other side of town to where our real aircraft is stationed.

Step 10: Another Double

The police will have figured out that our first aircraft was a decoy, so they won't be looking for an aircraft as your method of escape.

With the tunnel, they'll assume you escaped on foot... but in reality, you will already be in the air.

Pᴀɢᴇ 30 → [Breaking a Heart] View Criminal's Perspective

Richard Snow: So you want me in the hidden closet near the entrance, correct? And what happens after the ambush? How does this all end?

Paul Volkov: It ends... in a symphony of darkness.

Richard Snow: So cryptic... I don't even know what that means.

Paul Volkov: Brother, it is done, we have succeeded. You can walk out there and they won't know better. Just stop outside and smoke a cigarette.

They think our escape is the helicopter on the roof, this will give me ample time to escape through the underground hatch. I'll drop off the tracker here in the corner.

Nikita Volkov: We make a good team, brother.

I may still be arrested, but the evidence they have shouldn't match with me at all, so I should eventually be free.

I've already contacted Blue Eyes. His crew has already fled London. We are the last pieces of the puzzle.

I'll see you in Ukraine, brother. Farewell.

Paul Volkov: Blood for blood... we are one.

Pᴀɢᴇ 31 → [Breaking a Heart] View Case Story

The plan had succeeded, the final hours for Detective Morgan and Natalie Snow were approaching. Whoever came through the door was going to die. Was it going to be Detective Steel or Detective Morgan?

Pᴀɢᴇ 32 → [Knight Takes Pawn] View Criminal's Perspective

Nikita Volkov: I suppose not even the most clever detectives think criminals can be in two places at once.

Pᴀɢᴇ 33 → [Knight Takes Pawn] View Case Story

Paul fled London and is nowhere to be found, only his twin brother, Nikita, remained. Police ran tests on Nikita only to find that the man they have in custody was not the same man they had just hours prior to raiding the asylum. Nikita claimed he didn't know anything about the crimes. The police could only hold him so long and eventually had to let him go. The fingerprints didn't match with Nikita, they were Paul's.
