• Once deciphered, the messages read:
  • "Resetting trap after dinner?"

  • "Nah u wanna come tho?"
  • "I'm staying here tonight"
  • "Fine"

Email Chain

• Wow, it took the magazine over 2 months to get back to him...
• The last email from Toby's account to the magazine obviously was not written by him. The tone is all wrong and it is not formal like the others.
• It was sent at 10:12 pm the night Toby died. But he left camp at 9:00 pm.
  • Emma accompanied Rusty on resetting the trap.
  • Lillian was off taking a photo of golden hour.
  • Nigel has already been eliminated as a suspect.
  • So that only leaves the old fart to be the one to write the email, be seen on the trail cams, and murder Toby.

Field Journal Page

• Emma reveals that Toby planned to sell the animal as soon as it was found.
• It sounds as if she were the one who wrote the suspicious email from Toby's account, but she was with Rusty at the time.
  • So unless she somehow wrote it when Toby caught her in his tent and scheduled it to send later...

Keychain

• This holds a microfiber cloth with a slip of paper wrapped up inside.
• The slip of paper reads:
  • "Share: AutoFocus724"

Lanyard

• This actually pulls apart to reveal a concealed USB stick...
• When plugged in, all it contains is 2 very out-of-focus "washed" photos.
• According to Toby's notebook page, he digitally distorted them.
  • I wonder if/how we can un-distort them.
  • They should show what Conrad buried by the catacombs.

PI Letter

• Michelle is back with us for the last leg of this race.
• She gives us our final password for her website.

Pocket Journal

• Certain words are coded in this journal. It is a simple substitution cipher which can be cracked by common sense deduction of certain words and patterns and going from there.
