Goals

  • What time was the video taken?
  • Who was in the light booth?

Physical Items

Contact Letter

Observation

Sofia figures if we can track down the time the video was taken and check out the light presets, that we will be able to deduce who else was involved in the conversation with Marcus.

Contract

Observation

Someone was looking to work with the company that made the mint tin.

Instruction Sheet

Observation

This is a legend for the light booth buttons and controls.

Journal Page

Observation #1

This is a page out of Lillian's journal.

Observation #2

She wrote a few lines in code.

Observation #3

Using Nathan's sticker instructions from the team morale assessment, we can decipher the messages.

Observation #4

The capital letters followed by numbers are "coordinates" to find on the sticker sheets.

Observation #5

Replace the capital letters with the first letter of the sticker meanings.

  • For example, B7 = orange heart = maneuvering outstanding. D4 = yellow rectangle = loop improvement needed.
  • Therefore, B7 = MO and D4 = LI
  • MO + ra + LI + ty = MORALITY

Observation #6

Once decoded, the messages read:

  • MORALITY
  • LIABILITY
  • INDEMNITY
  • NON COMPETE
  • CONFIDENTIALITY

Light Booth Presets

Observation

This is a list of presets for certain events.

Mint Tin, containing stickers

Observation

Caffeinated mints?! Never heard of such a thing.

Pin

Observation

This is a ferret.

Pitch Folder, containing pitch deck

Observation #1

On the back of the last page, there appears to be a conversation between Carol and Marcus.

Observation #2

In the back of the folder is further conversation with a code.

Observation #3

Marcus gives a hint for what the code is.

Observation #4

The pin depicts a ferret.

Observation #5

Each message is decoded by adding the number to the letters that follow it.

  • 2dc = d + 2 = F / c + 2 = e
  • 1qq = q + 1 = r / q + 1 = r
  • 3b = b + 3 = e
  • 4p = p + 4 = t

Observation #6

Once decoded, the messages read:

  • HARRISON'S CONTRACTOR
  • KILL HIS DEAL
  • CHANGED YOUR MIND
  • FERRET

Rink Room Reservation Schedule

Observation #1

There is more code at the bottom of the page. Use the same method used for the pitch folder.

Observation #2

The message at the bottom is a simple Caesar cipher. Shift the letters forward in the alphabet using the number that appears beforehand.

Observation #3

Once decoded, the message reads:

  • "I PULLED a few STRINGS for that CONTRACT, so don't tell ANNA until the DEAL IS COMPLETE. You'll be FREE soon enough."

Team Morale Assessment

Observation

Nathan gives instructions on how to use the stickers that are in the mint tin.
